Scrimmage at Ponderosa 12/3
We only took 10 wrestlers, but many got 3-4 matches and we won the majority of them. First we wrestled Casa Roble and were able to win 9 of 12 matches. Most of the wins were very convincing with a lot of bonus points for majors, techs, and pins. The three losses were all close matches decided by a point or two.
The next match was against Ponderosa, and we were able to secure wins in 8 out of 13 matches. The biggest win of the night may have come from Connor Pollock who pinned his Ponderosa wrestler ranked 3rd in the Sac-Joaquin Section (Connor is ranked #8). Other wins over ranked foes included Sam Morgan over his opponent ranked 7th in the section, and Dillon Fader (ranked #3) beating his Ponderosa foe ranked #8. Going undefeated on the night were Pollock, Eric Dowd, Matt Parker, Fader, and Steven Duval.
