Mad Dawg Fundraising
Fund-raising is very important to the Mad Dawg Wrestling Club. Funds that are generated by the club membership help in the following ways:
- sponsor club registration fees for members in need
- Sponsor expenditures for club members in need (i.e. equipment)
- Supplement costs for major tournaments (state, regional’s, nationals)
- Assist in payment of hotel rooms for traveling
- Payment of two student coaches to assist adult coaches
- Payment for needed wrestling equipment (i.e. throwing dummy, team banners)
- Pay for team registration fees for wrestling tournaments
- Purchase required USA Wrestling cards for coaches
- Pay for mandatory USA Wrestling training for coaches
- Pay for mandatory CIF training for coaches
- Assist in payment of traveling costs (gas money)
- Pre-pay costs of new wrestling singlets
- Pre-pay costs of yearly purchase of USA wrestling cards
- Payment for yearly renewal of club charter with USA Wrestling
- Payment for special events (i.e. appreciation BBQ for mat sponsors)
- Payment for meals for elementary school wrestling exhibitions
- Purchase of supplies needed to host wrestling tournaments
- Upkeep of wrestling equipment/mats/supplies
