Mike Collier - Head Coach

Coach Collier came to Folsom High in 2002, and served as an assistant coach for a couple of years before becoming head coach in 2004 for the bulldogs. Since that time, Folsom has had 20 state qualifiers, 11 section champions, 3 state placewinners, 2 masters champions, and 2 wrestlers reach All-American status. Last season Folsom won it's third consecutive Delta River League title and advanced to the Division I section semifinals as a team.
Coach Collier wrestled at Fairfield High School from 1989-1993,where he was a two-time league and subsection champion, as well as a two-time state qualifier and a Sac-Joaquin Section champion. He then went on to wrestle for U.C. Davis, where he was a two-time Pac 10 Place winner, and a NCAA Division I National Qualifier. Coach Collier was a team captain his last two seasons for UCD, earning the most outstanding wrestler award in his senior season.
After graduating in Exercise Science from U.C. Davis in 1998, Coach Collier was the first assistant coach at U.C. Davis for three years, and an assistant coach at Sacramento City College. He has also been one of the coaches at the Cadet/Junior Nationals for Team California. Coach Collier is currently teaching Physical Education at Sutter Middle School in Folsom.
Willie Fader - Assistant Coach

This will be Coach Fader’s third season with the Folsom High School Bulldogs. Prior to coming to FHS, Coach Fader was the assistant coach at Sutter Middle School in Folsom for three years. Coach Fader began wrestling for John F. Kennedy Junior High School in Cupertino, CA in 1969. He continued wrestling into High School for the Monta Vista Matadors, from 1971 to 1974, where he was a League Champion, a Central Coast Champion, and a JV California State Champion. Coach Fader participated in the 1972 Junior Olympics. After graduating from High School he attended San Jose State University, where he wrestled for one season. He later transferred to De Anza Junior College and wrestled for two more seasons on the varsity lineup. Coach Fader is currently a California Highway Patrol Motorcycle Officer, working in the Sacramento Area. As secondary employment Coach Fader is a Motorcycle Police Officer with the California State Fair Police Department.
Duane Fidel - Assistant Coach

Coach Fidel has coached wrestling in the community since 1991, volunteering his time at both Folsom Middle School and Folsom High School. He is also the founder and team director of the Mad Dawg Wrestling Club, and has served as the Sac-Joaquin Section Tournament Director for FHS. Actually, Coach Fidel started his coaching career during his junior year at Sacramento State University. He was hired as the assistant coach at Cordova High School and later became co-head coach. Coach Fidel coached at Cordova for over ten Coach Fidel grew up in Rancho Cordova and graduated from Cordova High in 1975. While at Cordova, Coach Fidel was a three-time Delta League and a three-time Sub Section wrestling champion. He was also a Sac-Joaquin Section Champion. He qualified for the state tournament twice and was a medal winner. Coach Fidel went on to wrestle at Sacramento City Jr. College where he was a two time state qualifier, a team captain and was a part of the California J.C. All-Academic Wresting Team.
Robert Thomas - Assistant Coach

This will be Coach Thomas' fifth season coaching with Folsom. Coach Thomas started wrestling at Clayton Valley High 1984-1988. There he was a two time section qualifier. After high school he attended Diablo Valley College , and helped coach at Clayton Valley from 1989-1990. Coach Thomas is currently the General Manager for Dos Coyotes restaurant in Folsom. He has employed many wrestlers past and present from Folsom High, and Dos Coyotes has become one of Folsom wrestling's chief sponsors as a result.
Aaron Fitzpatrick - Assistant Coach

This will be Coach Fitzpatrick's first season with the Folsom High School Bulldogs,but this is his fourth year in the community moving from coaching at Sutter Middle School since 2005. Coach Fitzpatrick started his coaching career at Castro Valley High School as an assistant from 1989-1994.
Coach Fitzpatrick grew up in the Bay Area where he started his wrestling career at a young age. He was the California State Champion in 8th Grade, also placing second at the Western Regionals. In high school while attending Castro Valley High School from 1985-1989, He was a four time league finalist, and a two time league Champion. Coach Fitzpatrick was a four time North Coast Section qualifier, ranked in the top 8 all four years compiling a 126-24 record. After high school coach Fitzpatrick attended Chabot College and also helped coach at Castro Valley High.
